We have created this space to share our stories, life thoughts and how we are living to be the best versions of ourselves each and every day with our children.

Life is real and it is not easy but we believe if we all loved just a little bit more (starting with ourselves), we can all live A Heart Happy Life.

We strive to be present in the daily lives of our children by living A Happy Heart Life. Overtime we will share more about what we mean by A Heart Happy Life but for now we mean living by listening to our hearts. That we as parents, are living a life of love and are striving to walk in balance. We hope to raise our children to truly love themselves unconditionally for the beautiful souls that they are, that they will appreciate the simple joys of this life, and are open to learning and growing even in the most difficult times.

 

Growing our family was an incredibly unconventional journey (as you will come to know). We experienced a lot of great moments on our path to parenthood but we also shared a lot of frightening, sad and discouraging moments that have contributed to us learning and growing into who we are today.

We believe we were born loving each other. We met in 2004 and had a pretty awesome friendship develop. In late 2005 we decided to go on date. From that first date we have been inseparable. We just celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary.

​

We have had many ups and downs from spent many nights in a hospital bed to not knowing what the future holds, to 3 children and a furry friend living in a new city and loving every minute of life together.

 

This is a story about our family, a Heart Happy Family, and our day to day life, starting a new journey of fulfillment to provide our children with life lessons on how to learn to be the best versions of themselves. We will share memories, stories and thoughts on how we got here and where we are planning on going. We are a family that values our time, the environment, being good humans and trying to make the world a better place. We are writers, sports lovers, coffee drinkers, essential oil users and so much more, looking to help others if we can.
